Welcome to the NZSIA Ski Careers section. Here we aim to provide our members with career development support. Each year we have a number of employment vacancies submitted from international employers, all related to the ski instructing industry.
In addition, our Trainers and Examiners have written a series of resources and articles to help our members continue to advance their careers as instructors, coaches, skiers and riders.
Career pathways
There are many career pathways available within the instructing industry. Each avenue leads towards a promising career goal such as coaching, management, or even instructor training and examining. The following diagram demonstrates these pathways and the main qualifications and courses needed to progress along each route.
